Welcome to RECAMP Tateyama!
We are delighted to have you here. To ensure a safe and relaxing experience for all our guests—families, solo campers, and travelers alike—we have established a few important rules. Please take a moment to read through our guide to "Japanese Camping Etiquette."
🌟 1. Quiet Hours (The Japanese Camping Style) Japanese camping emphasizes enjoying the silence of the night.
22:00 - 7:00 is "Quiet Time."
Please chat in whispers inside your tent and dim your lights after 10 PM.
No Speakers: Please do not use speakers or play loud music at any time. We invite you to listen to the sound of the ocean waves and the wind instead. (Using earphones is okay!)
🔥 2. Fire & BBQ Safety Our campsite features beautiful natural grass. Please help us protect it.
Use a Fire Sheet: You MUST use a fireproof sheet under your grill, fire pit, or gas burner.
Extinguish by 21:00: Please finish your bonfire and extinguish the fire by 9 PM to prepare for quiet time.
⚽ 3. Activities & Safety To prevent accidents with vehicles and to maintain a quiet environment, the following items are NOT allowed:
Ball games (Soccer, Baseball, Badminton, etc.)
Drones / Radio-controlled toys
Skateboards / Kick scooters
Tip: If you want to play sports, the spacious "Heisaura Beach" is just a 5-minute drive away!
🗑️ 4. Garbage Disposal We recycle! If you wish to dispose of trash at the camp, please follow these rules:
Fee: 500 JPY per reservation.
Separation: Please separate trash into: Burnables, Plastics, Bottles, Cans, and Cardboard.
🐶 5. Traveling with Dogs
Please keep your dog on a leash at all times.
Pets are not allowed inside public buildings (Toilet, Shower, Kitchen, Administration building).
Note: Cats are strictly prohibited due to the risk of them escaping.
🚍 Check-in & Gate Times
Check-in: 13:00 - 18:00
Gate Closed: 20:00 - 8:00
Important: Vehicles cannot enter or leave the campsite between 8 PM and 8 AM. Please plan your shopping and bathing trips accordingly.
We hope you have a safe and wonderful stay surrounded by the palm trees and sea breeze of Tateyama!
